Description

The Microneedling with PRP or PRF is a non-surgical, no downtime form of skin or follicle rejuvenation that uses your own natural blood cells to restore the healthy glow to the skin of the face or scalp.

Because microneedling with SkinPen creates shallow microchannel ‘wounds’ into the skin, it ignites the wound healing cascade resulting in collagen building. When Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) or Platelet-Rich Fibrin is added to the procedure, fibroblasts and growth hormones help boost the healing process creating a fresher, better textured skin and turns on dormant hair follicles in the scalp.

How does the PRP Facial work?

The procedure starts with blood being drawn from the patient. The blood is taken the same way it would be for a normal blood test. Once blood has been collected, it is then centrifuged and the platelets are separated from the red blood cells.

A microneedling system (SkinPen) is then used to re-introduce the formula into your skin, resulting in a radiant glow and more youthful skin on your face, and helps reinvigorate existing follicles for hair growth.
